About the Artist

sandy-copenhaverART FOR THE HOMELESS
My name is Sandra Copenhaver and I create "Art for the Homeless? with proceeds from every piece going to help local homeless shelters. I have always had a deep and passionate desire to paint, to create art with depth and life, with light and color. My oils are created with a palette knife leaving the paintings full of texture and dimension. I also enjoy working with watercolors and love the freedom it brings, just like the knife does to my oils. I am a lover of nature in all forms and try to paint the natural beauty of my surroundings. I enjoy different subjects including mountain landscapes, sunsets, coastal scenes, still-life, and towns and street scenes.
I am a member of the North Georgia Arts Guild and the Citrus Country Art League. My paintings can be seen in person at the Cupboard Café in Dillard, Georgia; Florida Artists Gallery in Floral City, Florida; the Lakemont Gallery in Lakemont, Georgia; and Mountain Crafts Co-op in Clayton, Georgia. To see the full body of my work and my newest creations, please visit my web sites at www.sandracopenhaver.com AND www.sandracopenhaverart.shutterfly.com
Thank you for your interest. SANDY COPENHAVER
