Exercise Your Mind Trivia Challenge

Warm up tonight for a summer of fun while participating in some trivia contests before learning all about our challenge event.  Sign up as an individual, a team or a family unit.  Every two weeks you will receive a specially designed set of questions to challenge you.  At the end of July during our finale party, the winner of the most quiz rounds will be awarded a fantastic prize and their photo will be displayed in the library!

We’ll provide multiple coloring pages to choose from as well as a nice selection of colored pencils, markers, and crayons. We’ll also provide a welcoming environment with soothing music to help you relax and enjoy some YOU time. No registration necessary. Supplies provided by the Friends of the Homosassa Public Library.

Coping with Dementia

health-optionsJoin us for the program "Coping with Dementia" key speaker Debbie Selsavage, a licensed assisted living administrator, will be speaking about a technique of compassion-based care, providing dementia-friendly training for those not in the health industry. Ms. Selsavage became a trainer in the Positive Approach to Care, that is considered by many to be the gold standard of Alzheimer's and Dementia care.
