Tween and Teen Card Making Class: Birthday Cards

card-making-suppliesTweens and Teens can join miss Debbie for a fun-filled class creating handmade birthday cards.  Learn special card making techniques, such as: rubber stamping, die cutting, punching, and embellishing.  Attendees will create two separate greeting cards to take home. Materials are provided by the Friends of the Coastal Region Library.

Seniors vs Crime

sheriff-logoThe presentation will cover a wide range of scams to include phone scams, imposter scams, credit card scams, phishing scams with a focus on what is current in our county. The wide variety of scams discussed will cover such things as the IRS scam, the grandparent scam, the electric bill scam, the credit card transition scam, and many others. In addition, time permitting, other topics such as things to look for when dealing with contractors.

Over the next 69 days, an international team worked night and day in a desperate attempt to rescue the trapped men as their families and friends, as well as millions of people globally, waited and watched anxiously for any sign of hope.

Register to Vote! Citrus County Libraries Celebrate Constitution Week

This week was created to raise awareness of the Constitution and encourage citizens to participate in their government.   Citrus County Supervisor of Elections representatives will join the CCLS libraries to celebrate this week by holding a voter registration drive.
