Adult Literacy Citizenship Tutoring Workshop

This is a one day, 4 hour workshop designed to give tutors the skills needed to teach citizenship classes or tutor people interested in becoming citizens.All materials are provided. topics covered will be the citizenship class curriculum, possible visual aids, web resources and library resources. Space is limited. Patrons can register online or by calling Literacy Services at (352)628-5626.

Adult Learners can come and practice their English communication skills through tutor-guided conversation, pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary.
