Living Healthy Program: Chronic Disease Self Management

stethoscopeWould you spend just 2 1/2 hours a week to learn how to stay active and enjoy life? A health care team will work with those who have ongoing health conditions to manage symptoms, use medications, and handle difficult emotions. You must pre-register by October 7 for this six week series.

Youth and teens are invited to come out and play Wii games at the Coastal Region Branch, on the 1st and 2nd Wednesdays of the month. Games may include Mario Cart, Wii Sports, Rock Band, and Dance, Dance Revolution. Snacks provided by the Friends of the Coastal Region Library.

Citizenship / Naturalization Classes

citizenship-3Do you dream of becoming an American citizen? Join us at the library for seven weeks of classes designed to teach individuals the skills they will need to pass the U.S. Naturalization exam.

We'll review test topics such as: American history, branches of government, courts and the legal system, and famous Americans. Learners will receive sample interview questions and have interview practice.
