Resume Writing and Interviewing Skills

At Saint Leo University, the Bachelor of Arts of Human Services is an interdisciplinary, applied program designed to help students develop an appreciation of differing human values, a concern for human dignity, and an understanding of and a determination to resolve social and individual problems. The degree offers the opportunity to work in a variety of settings with individuals, groups, and families. You will find Human Services professionals working in schools, hospitals, group homes, counseling type agencies, day care centers, homeless shelters, and nursing homes, among other social service agencies. If you like working with children, teens, adults or the elderly this may be the major for you. Field placements (internships) in local agencies complement classroom learning so students can apply theory to practice.
