Pre-GED Social Studies - In this instructor led class, learners review social studies including: U.S. history, world history, civics, geography, and economics. Throughout the course, there is an emphasis on finding main ideas and utilizing context clues to improve reading comprehension of nonfiction texts.

This seven-week series of Citizenship Classes will teach adult learners the basic knowledge needed to pass the U.S. Naturalization Exam. Topics covered include: American history, the three branches of government, courts and the legal system, and famous Americans. The classes will also focus on speaking, reading, and writing skills.
