INTERLIBRARY LOAN

All Interlibrary loans are now provided through the iBorrow service.

iBorrow

This service allows for materials that are not in the Citrus County Library System to be borrowed from other libraries. Generally requests cannot be filled for items published in the previous six months.

To request an interlibrary loan, you must have a valid library card with no fines. If fees are charged by the lending library, the patron will be required to pay. Depending on the availability of materials, requests may take up to four weeks to process. If the item is unavailable a notice will be sent to the address or email on file.

What is iBorrow?
iBorrow is a Universal Resource Sharing Application (URSA) program which allows you to borrow library materials from libraries throughout Florida and the continental United States from any internet connected computer. All you have to do is tell it what you’re looking for, and it will do all the work. Your order will be shipped to the library of your choice and the library will contact you by phone when your order has arrived and is ready for pickup.

How to use iBorrow:
Create an account.
Search for an item.
Manage your account.

Note: The Citrus County Library System will process a Genealogy request if an exact title is known. Please be aware that this type of material is often classified as reference. If photocopies are provided by the lender, there may be a charge.
