September 26: Crystal River Preserve State Park Work Project

fl-state-parks-logoCome out for the Churchhouse Hammock Trailhead Improvement and help restore native groundcover and beautify the trailhead area. Projects will include planting over 140 plants, spreading seeds, trimming trail vegetation, moving an informational kiosk and planting trees.

Meet at US Hwy 19, directly across from the Crystal River Mall. Make sure to bring sturdy shoes, work gloves, and planting tools.

Charlie C and The Remember This Band ( will perform August 20. You may have seen them perform in Citrus County, and this five-piece group will show their 60s and 70s repertoire at the museum. They are a variety band, and will play oldies, favorites, and recent releases. What: Charlie C "Remember This Band" Where: at the Old Courthouse Heritage Museum/Downtown Inverness on the Square.

The Clock ‘n Tower Museum Store is now open and in expanded space. We carry books, toys and gifts for all ages as well as pottery created by local artist Lee Partin.
