Women of Words meets on a monthly basis as an alternative to a book club. At the meetings we discuss a different topic each month and share our views and stories. Discussions are open to any subject except religion, politics, and trashing others.
Mondays, 2:00-4:00 pm
The Women of Words invites you to join them in a shared discussion with Judy Herron on the topic of "A Graceful Exit, or No Hurry to Leave." Ms Herron brings with her a wealth of experience as an RN, case manager, and hospice manager. Come listen and share. All welcome.
October is Friends of the Library Month in Citrus County.
The work of the Friends of the Library promotes the fact that our libraries are a cornerstone of community education, providing opportunities for everyone to engage in the joy of life-long learning and connect with the thoughts and ideas of the world.
The Friends, the foundation of community support for the Citrus County Library System, understand the critical importance of well-funded libraries and advocate to ensure that our libraries get the resources needed to provide a wide variety of services to all ages.
