Coastal Region Friends Donate $14,000!

cr-fol-donate-14000Thank you, thank you, and thank you, to the Friends of the Coastal Region Library! The Friends group recently donated $14,000 to the Coastal branch for collection development. This means that new materials will soon be hitting the shelves for our library customers to peruse and check out!

The Friends also support youth and adult programming through funding, as well. An additional $500 has recently been allocated by the Friends for this purpose. These monies provide speciality craft supplies for many youth programs including all of Coastal’s summer reading programs. Furthermore, the Friends are sponsoring several Stampin’ Up! Card Making Classes.

The Friends of the Coastal Region Library raise money throughout the year via book sales and membership dues.

Thank you, Friends!
