Adopt a Pet: Make a difference in your life... and theirs

barn-cats

Barn Cat Program: Safe natural rodent control putting cats to work.

If you have a farm, barn, horse stable or warehouse that you need rid of pesky mice, rats or rodents, "done naturally", then we have a barn cat for you!

The cats available for our barn program are considered to be less desirable house pets due to previously being outdoor cats. Also, you can provide feral cats with a chance at life. Although this group of felines are not suitable indoor companions, they would be a wonderful buddy to a chicken, cow or horse!

There is no fee for adopting our barn cats
All cats will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed and vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies

These cats are looking for a safe place to live and will reward you with a rodent free barn. All you need to do is commit to providing food and water, protection from the elements, and routine veterinary care.

Search for cats by visiting the Citrus County Animal Services web site http://www.citruscritters.com/

Donations are always needed.

Items Needed:
Hard Rubber Dog Balls
Newspapers
Pet Shampoo
Toys

Contact: Animal Services 746-8400 for more information.
