A Story of Collaboration 
Educational Partners in Citrus County (EPICC)

The Citrus County Library System (CCLS) and Central Florida Community College (CFCC) created a display at the poster session at the Florida Library Association Annual Conference 2007.

Partners include:
Central Florida Community College Citrus Campus (CFCC)
Citrus County Historical Society, Inc. and The Old Courthouse Heritage Museum (CCHS/CHM)
Citrus County Library System (CCLS)
Citrus County School Board (CCSB)


Friends of the Library Fall Book Sale

FOCCLS Fall 2006 book sale was a bibliophile’s cornucopia of reading delights and values. Another record was set by hitting a total of $34,723.40!!! The energetic Friends Groups members will be back at the Book House at the Historic Hernando School to start preparing for the FOCCLS Spring 2007 sale, which will be held from March 30 through April 3, 2007. Sponsored by Friends of the Citrus County Library System Inc. (FOCCLS), proceeds benefit Friends of Central Ridge, Coastal Region and Lakes Region libraries and the Citrus County Library System.

Smartest Cards for Students

Citrus County Library System Director, Flossie Benton Rogers, announces that The Central Florida Community College (CFCC) and the Citrus County Library System (CCLS) are once again working together to provide the best access to electronic resources and particularly Premium Database Resources for the students. CFCC Manager LRC, Edith Ramlow indicated that now is the time to remind students that a library card is the most important school supply of all.
