National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is here!

Picture of NaNo logoNovember is here, and that means National Novel Writing Month is underway!

National Novel Writing Month, also known as NaNoWriMo, is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to novel writing. Participants begin writing on November 1, and the goal is to write a 50,000 word (approximately 175 page) novel by 11:59:59, November 30.

Sound fun? It is!

We'll be hosting a special Write In event at the Central Ridge branch in Beverly Hills on November 16, 2011 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm. Join the party, get some inspiration or help, and gain momentum in finishing your novel!

You'll be in good company at the Write In, too. Published authors Elissa Malcohn, Dylan Newton, and Loretta Rogers, and author Flossie Benton Rogers will be available to help and answer questions. Join the NaNo frenzy!

For more information on NaNo or to register yourself as a participant, visit the official National Novel Writing Month website at http://www.nanowrimo.org
